Nonperturbative Renormalization and the QCD Vacuum

چکیده
We present a self consistent approach to Coulomb gauge Hamiltonian QCD which allows one to relate single gluon spectral properties to the long range behavior of the confining interaction. Nonperturbative renormalization is discussed. The numerical results are in good agreement with phenomenological and lattice forms of the static potential. Typeset using REVTEX 1

Qcd Glueball Sum Rules and Vacuum Topology
Several key problems of QCD sum rules in the spin-0 glueball channels are resolved by implementing nonperturbative short-distance physics from direct instantons and topological charge screening. A lattice-based instanton size distribution and the IR renormalization of the nonperturbative Wilson coefficients are also introduced. Results of a comprehensive quantitative sum rule analysis are revie...
متن کاملFrom Current to Constituent Quarks: a Renormalization Group Improved Hamiltonian-based Description of Hadrons
A model which combines the perturbative behavior of QCD with low energy phenomenology in a uni ed framework is developed. This is achieved by applying a similarity transformation to the QCD Hamiltonian which removes interactions between the ultraviolet cuto and an arbitrary lower scale. Iteration then yields a renormalization group improved e ective Hamiltonian at the hadronic energy scale. The...
متن کاملSelf-consistent Gaussian model of nonperturbative QCD vacuum
We show that the minimal Gaussian model of nonlocal vacuum quark and quark-gluon condensates in QCD generates the non-transversity of vector current correlators. We suggest the improved Gaussian model of the nonperturbative QCD vacuum, which respects QCD equations of motion and minimizes the revealed gauge-invariance breakdown. We obtain the refined values of pion distribution amplitude (DA) co...
متن کاملComposite Operators in Lattice Qcd: Nonperturbative Renormalization †
We investigate the nonperturbative renormalization of composite operators in lattice QCD restricting ourselves to operators that are bilinear in the quark fields. These include operators which are relevant to the calculation of moments of hadronic structure functions. The computations are based on Monte Carlo simulations using quenched Wilson fermions.
متن کاملNonperturbative QCD Vacuum Effects in Nonlocal Quark Dynamics
A straightforward calculation reveals the essentially nonlocal character of the leading heavy QQ̄ interaction arising from nonperturbative gluon field correlations in the model of a fluctuating QCD vacuum. In light of this quarkonium spin splitting ratio predictions which have supported the scalar confinement ansatz are reconsidered as a specific example of possible consequences for spectroscopy.
